There is a lot of waiting going on in Dar es Salaam especially at the Ferry docs where you catch the Kilimanjaro I or II to nearby islands. I often occupied myself by drawing my surroundings and this usually involved people. I loved the bright African fabrics that women and men wore. You don’t see that every day in rural Canada where I grew up.
